All the professional dental staff are experienced and most have an additional or higher qualification. Some are on the General Dental Council's new Specialist Registers for their speciality. Most have currently or in the past held posts in hospitals or in Dental Schools working in their chosen field and teaching dental students. All are committed to regular updating.

Dr E. Parker BDS MFGDP (UK) – Dentist

Dr. Elinor Parker is the principal of the practice and sees most of the patients for their diagnostic and restorative dentistry. She has worked in hospital, academic and general practice settings in UK and abroad. She has been the Associate Editor of the British Dental Journal for many years, with special emphasis on general practice issues. She enjoys classical music, badminton and walking and is married with two grown-up children.

Mrs J. Robinson BDS (Hons) D. Orth. RCS (Eng) – Dentist

Mrs. Janice Robinson is at the practice to offer a specialist orthodontic service to both children and adults. She also practices at an orthodontic practice elsewhere and has practiced at Roehampton Hospital. She too has two children and is a keen golfer.

Dr N. Macpherson BDS BSc FDSRCPS (Glasg) – Dentist

Dr. Nicola Macpherson is the practice's specialist oral surgeon, with a regular session to deal with diseased wisdom teeth, broken or buried teeth or roots and surgery to save dead teeth. She is also available to treat and advise on surgical conditions. She also has two young children!

Dr N. Kabra BDS – Dentist

Dr. Navneet Kabra has extensive UK hospital, academic and practice experience. He provides both private treatment on Saturday mornings and, on one day a week, NHS dentistry for patients eligible for free treatment only. He has three grown-up children one of whom is a dentist. He is actively involved in a charity for patients in India.

Dr Rohan Rajasingham LDS RCS, BDS, MSc – Dentist

Dr Rohan, as he is happy to be known, qualified in London and is also currently at the Eastman Dental Hospital. Complex root canal work is carried out by him at the practice one day a week. He is a keen participant in several sports and a competitor at national level.

Dr Rainer Hackemann – Dentist

Dr Rainer Hackemann has joined Hersham dental practice to be our denture and crown and bridge man. He has had extensive private practice experience in both Germany and Canada. Dr Hackemann is married with grown-up children.

Mrs D. Stiff EDH EDT FETC – Hygienist and Therapist

Mrs Denise Stiff is both a therapist, qualified to treat teeth, and a hygienist. She holds a further education certificate and has had experience, working and tutoring at the Royal London hospital. She is a national examiner for the dental nurse diploma and currently teaches the course at Brooklands College. She contributes to practice policy and treatment on prevention, gum problems and children's services, including fissure sealants. She has two daughters and is involved with Scouting.

Tina Boonyai – Senior Receptionist

Senior receptionist Tina Boonyai and Senior Dental Nurse Sara Webster head the support team.

Tina has many years experience within dentistry, both as a nurse and a receptionist and manages much of the administration of the practice. She has a son who is a journalist in Thailand.

Sara Webster – Senior Dental Nurse

Sara holds the National Diploma in dental nursing and a radiology certificate which qualifies her to take x-rays for patients. She has been a tutor on the Dental Nursing course at Brooklands College and also has a young son and daughter.

Rostom Shnib-Said – Staff Grade Dental Nurse

Rostom Shnib-Said has joined the practice as a dental nurse. He qualified in dentistry in his home country of Libya and is intending to qualify to work as a dentist in the U.K. He has been in England since September 2005 and has been working as a dental nurse since May 2006. He is single and enjoys playing and watching football and watching movies.

Taz Meghani – Staff Grade Dental Nurse

Taz followed the dental nursing diploma course at Brooklands College and qualified in May 2003. She is known to very many in the area following years in local retailing. Taz is married with grown-up children and is involved with several faith-based charities.

Katherine Phillips – Administrative Assistant

Kath has two young children and comes to the practice with a background in office work and administration.

She enjoys spending time with her family and socialising.
